Non-exempt Summary Use leadership and supervisory skills at the building level to ensure quality child care in a safe and enriched environment.
To provide support to staff, parents and student associated with school age child care programs.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the development of the program components to enhance the social, emotional, cognitive, physical, and academic development of children.
Assume the responsibility for day to day operations of school age child care at the building site.
Delegate work responsibilities to the staff assigned to the site.
Attend the necessary training sessions as assigned by the Kids Club Program Director.
Develop and maintain positive working relationships with children, parents, and building staff.
Contact substitutes if the Director cannot be reached.
Supervise substitutes so program quality and safety are maintained.
Notify the Director of any staff changes.
Maintain records as required by the Program Director.
Assume responsibility for school facilities and equipment used by the program.
Perform any and all other duties as requested by the Board of Education, Superintendent, or the Kids Club Program Director.
Supervisory Duties Kids Club Site Assistants Qualifications Education/Experience Associates Degree Preferred Completion of some formal early childhood in-service training hours.
Successful experience in a school age or preschool care setting Certificates, Licenses, Registrations CPR/First Aid Skills and Abilities Language Read and comprehend simple written and oral instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Write short correspondence.
Communication one on one and in small groups.
Reasoning Understand and follow verbal and written instructions Occasionally solve problems involving concrete variables within standardized situations.
Technology Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.

Conditions and Environment Regular work in a school environment that is noisy and active.
Occasionally the individual will be required to work outdoors for short periods of time to perform such tasks as loading and unloading students from district transportation and supervising recess.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
